Check-In / Check-Out |
Day Campers - Session I Elite High School ID and Elite Middle School Campers (Sessions 2 and 3): Specific instructions regarding check-in and check-out will be emailed in the weeks before camp starts. Check-in typically runs between 10:00 am - 11:30 am on the first day of the Elite High School ID and Elite Middle School Camps. These camps conclude at 11:00 am on the final day of camp (lunch is not included on the final day). |
Housing |
All residential campers and camp staff will be housed in AIR-CONDITIONED campus dormitories (Sessions 2, 3). Roommates will be assigned at random - unless both roommates request each other in advance. Please make any requests for a roommate on the application. 24 hour supervision of the dorms will be provided by the camp staff. |
Equipment |
For the day campers, every day each player needs to bring 2 t-shirts, indoor and outdoor soccer shoes, shin guards, and 2 pairs of socks that fit over the shin guards. Also, each participant should bring a water container filled with water so they remain properly hydrated. We will have additional water coolers available for the campers. All campers will need to have their own soccer ball for the duration of the camp session. Soccer balls will be available for purchase. For residential campers, a camp guide sheet with suggested items to pack will be sent out in the weeks prior to camp starting. |
Cancellation Policies |
Please note there is an administrative fee associated with every registration. Therefore a portion of the fee will be non-refundable in the event you need to cancel in the months leading up to camp, please double check your schedule to ensure there are no conflicts. If you need to cancel within one month of camp you will not be guaranteed a partial refund. Please contact us in writing at marylandsoccercamp@umd.edu for questions or to submit requests for refunds. *If camp is cancelled due to local or state health guidelines, a full refund minus a small administrative fee will be issued. |
Medical |
A certified medical trainer is on duty at the camp at all times. A doctor is on call at the P.A. Medical Clinic, and the student health facilities are readily accessible. Because of the rigorous daily schedule, each camper should come to camp in top physical condition. The camp assumes no responsibility for accidents or illnesses. Please bring your own athletic tape if you need to be taped before playing. Our Training Staff will be on hand at check-in to answer any questions or address any concerns regarding medication or other medical issues. |
